He's officially out for the season. Sometimes I believe things are meant to happen, and this injury happened so weirdly and ironically that I can't help thinking that he's supposed to step aside and give someone else a chance to shine, and I'm not just talking about Matt Cassel. I'm very sad, but I'm actually really curious to see how the team compensates for his absence, if they do at all.
The football Gods were not shining upon Chestnut Hill, either. Our new starter isn't the best, and we could only come up with one touchdown for something like six trips into Georgia Tech's 20 yard line. I just hope the Crane is working on what he did wrong, so we can win games against better teams than Kent State. Crane is no Matt Ryan, but we didn't really expect him to be. I hope the rest of the team steps it up. I just want BC to win some games.
I have very high hopes for the Red Sox this season. They may not win the Series, but I think they'll do all right in the postseason (it looks like they'll make it). I'm also looking forward to hockey starting, I can't wait to go to BC hockey games again, and I might even follow the Bruins a little.
Also BC's Gasson Tower looks almost finished! Yay!
