One of the essay questions on my study abroad application (incidentally, the one I'm less invested in) is: Why do you think you are a good candidate for study abroad?
I'm seriously inclined to answer "Because I'm not a douche." Which is true, concise, and applicable, yet most likely not appropriate.
Suggestions?

or like "I HATE THE UNITED STATES."
