Your Emperor Has Returned

I'm back on Cape for the weekend and I'm glad it's not raining. In fact, it's very nice outside and I took a trip to the Hot Chocolate Sparrow to do work and was semi-productive.

So last night was the hockey season opener and banner night. Nathan Gerbe came back! It was dramatic.
Gerbe (left) and Matt Greene (right) help raise the banner (Wade).

The game was good. It was like a we score, they score kind of deal. A froshie scored the game winner! Awww, welcome to BC.

In other news, despite being home I'm swamped in schoolwork and the Red Sox won over the Rays last night to lead the series 1-0. Yay! And (from mlb.com):

"Dustin Pedroia's stubborn attitude is just one of the things that endears him to his teammates. 'I love him. I love that guy,' Red Sox slugger David Ortiz said. 'One way or the other, the little man had to let people know he was around. I love him, man. He's got the good kind of cocky. He's a trash talker, but it's the kind of trash that puts you in a good mood. I love it.'"
I have officially decided that Droi-droi and Ortiz should just divorce their wives and get married.
